If its been setting for some time,I would suspect the pump shaft has broken.When you get it repaired put nothing less than B 10 in the tank especially after the sulfur content of fuel is lowered again. Its possible the camshaft gears are shot,but even so the pump will have to be pulled to replace the camshaft,so removing the pump will be no big deal even if it is the gears.
