south central IOWA | We got to thinking AFTER the neighbor started grinding these bales but......why couldn't a guy bale up corn, skip wrapping in plastic and haul them home. Call the custom grinder and grind them right after they were baled. Have him go a little slow so you could push up in a pile. You probably wouldn't get to pack like you would otherwise but come feeding time it would work out a lot better. Plus one guy could do all of this rather easily compared to 3-4 guys minimum chopping.
