Subject: Re: Combine Auto Steer Question

North west MN
I have tried it that way and one combine always ends up ahead of another or you come to a ditch running lengthwise and you want to keep the end of the header in the bottom of the ditch but the autosteers wants you to straddle it. Setting the width to a foot lets you decide where the combine should go straight up the field Just take a full cut and hit the autosteer button. It also eliminates any offset issues from the older combines with offset cabs and or headers. I have also had success using it in 22" rows I set the swath to 22" and it would follow the rows that I want it to follow. This may sound strange but I have also had this work well for me when moldboard plowing.
