Stay with a crimper if you have many legumes. In our clover mix hay fields we had trouble with bales having mold with them. We do use one for waterways which is really nice to get around with. But it is a lot easier to get the hay to cure and put up in good shape with a crimper. All the neighbors use kuhns and they end up feeding a lot of carmalized bales.
