| Not too long after the Verticals started getting popular in the U.S., I was doing a little bit of dairy consulting. Now, this is second hand. Guy was mixing sticky alfalfa baleage in a pretty new mixer. It wanted to stick on the sides and not mix around. When I have had this problem, adding dry ingredients generally takes care of it. Anyway, this farmer was walking around the top of the mixer to make the alfalfa go down into the knives. Talk about a Darwin award waiting to happen. | |
