| I remember two years ago, a day old calf was missing. My brother and I looked for it for an hour or so and finally found it. It was covered in snow, but was fine.
I think I will fill the bale rings with hay tomorrow night. I put all the rings out of the wind behind some trees today. I will probably unroll some straw by the bale rings tomorrow night. I don't have any barns for them to go in. A lot of my cows calved the last two weeks, so I am not too concerned about calves not surviving the cold. | |
