I'm in the same boat. Bought a 30 year old 1700sq/ft house with full basement and dumped 60k into it. Did a total gut job on the main level. Everyone seems to think I need a wife and family asap to fill it right up. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just not interesting in this time of my life. Some people pretty much demand that I will be getting married to..... and try everything to make it happen.... over a period of 10 years. The bs got so bad I quit answering the phone and had to change the businesses, coffee shops, bars that I frequent. There's 3 locals that I avoid at all costs. That's all they want to talk about. | |
