Southern IA | 2-50 head feeders are 3-4 year wonders that come and go anytime fat prices are good, prpobably better off to save all their mioney on the machinery, labor and fuel. And just have a feed mill deliver enough to fill a 300bu gravity wagon full of feed already processed and mixed and just feed it with buckets, no fuel needed other than to back the wagon back in the shed and no misery shoveling earcorn out of a crib, finding a picker, elevator, grinding it when it is zero degrees and snowy. Gee I guess I'm taking all the fun out of it. | |
