so lately I've been trying to wean myself off coffee (thanks oilfield trucking!) but find myself having a strong affinity for hot, sweet drinks. I don't want to consume too much sugar, so I'm ruling out hot chocolate. I tried 15-20 ounces of hot water, add about 1-1.5 tbsp. of lemon juice, and 1 heaping tsp. of brown sugar, and I love it. Assuming I drink this 2-4 times a day, any negative effects? It's a lot of citric acid, but supposedly lemon juice has "cleansing properties". Don't want to get onto something even worse, but I'm doubtful of that.
Any thoughts?
