That does eliminate feed for those couple months at least. Keeps costs down. I guess my idea was to buy "off weight" critters for grass at the time, feed em to grass weight and sell them later on. Maybe that is defeating the purpose too. Just know trying to buy grass cattle at grass time gets hard and finding 7-8 weight critters in June gets tough.
