Faunsdale, AL | There are several different binders which function in similar way to the one you are reading about. Bentonite, Novasil, Diabond/Geobond and I'm sure there are others. Some have been tested as to what they will bind, usually with aflatoxin. Several of these are used in pellet binders and as anti -caking ingredients in feeds with purported benefits as toxin absorbers, but without label claims.
We are feeding Diabond to our dairy herd after a couple loads of milk had aflatoxin this fall. | |
