Subject: float valves

Driftless SW Wisconsin

I have four of the Franklin valves and never one problem. It doesn't seem worth the grief it is causing you. The Franklin valves are relatively inexpensive, why not just put in a Franklin valve/arm/float and see if it fixes your problem? Leaking waterer valves that overflow and create ice all over are not something to be messing with in winter weather. Cattle are not very good ice skaters.
