In Pennsylvania we have billboards that tell you "Masonry, 2 B 1 Ask 1" Nothing is guaranteed but we love having fresh new faces that want to become a part of the fraternity.
A good 'ole boys network? Good luck with that. Is there a fraternal bondage? You bet. Can I get out of a traffic ticket? Not likely.
When you are asked why you want to become a Mason, the next question will be Is it not rather out of Idle curiosity, mercenary, or some other persuasion? If you're going to join for self advancement, you might as well save your dues, and put your time to better use. We'll help you grow as a person, but we expect you to help the Lodge help our community. | |
