NEMO
Farming can be a rough way of life and can be very hard on our bodies. Some of that can be held to a minimum if we all would take better precautions to prevent unneeded injuries. I can tell you that after 28 years of farm equipment repairs, my body is felling the effects of decisions (or lack there of) that I made in my younger years. I do think that some sort of occupational/physical therapy would be benificial to ease some of the symptoms if not cure a small handful of them as well. As one said sometimes a limiting factor to access to these services fall back to insurance or lack thereof. I know of several farmers that have farmed thier whole life and never had any health insurance ever. When I was just getting started wrenching, an old mechanic, getting ready to retire, told me "When a mechanic retires, all he will have tgo show is a broken down back and a worn out set of tools". Back then, I laughed it off, now, I begin to see what he was talking about.
