Mine is made from 2 1/2' upset tubing out of the oil field . 30' joint . Cut 3' off the end with collar , anchored it in cement with rebar passing through the pipe and welded . Leveled the collar while cement set , orange peal cut the top and welded to seal out water . screwed the threaded end to collar . Been up 14 years . You want a fairly new pipe with no pitting . quite flexible .
