I've taken Zantac and Prilosec and some others also for the Hiatial Hernia deal for 20+ yrs too.
This is the other type hernia I've been told, I had always thought of the other hernia as being in the lower part of abdomen (sp) or scrotum, never in the top part as I have been told thats where mine is.
