Just outside downtown Prairie Hill | I'd have you look at red angus. Their are some really easy calving red angus bulls out there. Calves would be black...for the most part... you would get your hybrid vigor....and you could maintain a medium frame animal. With heifers, my primary concern is calving ease. Just can't expect a heifer to have a hard delivery and get her to rebreed and calve again within a 12 month time frame. Good luck with your venture... |
