Subject: RE: Some pretty Cheap Feed in the Midwest, keep

New Mexico
in mind corn sileage in 012 was pretty much paid for by the govt.
( govt paid the drouth grain loss and the farmer gets the feed free )

the "overdone" cattle are all in the midwest.
national avg wt was 1329 lbs this week, sw avg was 1282 lbs ( 39% hiefers ), thus the northern cattle are plenty heavy.

sooo, it could be that since cheap feed makes cheap cattle, we may end up visualizing how low that True and Real hard cog is this spring.
we'll see.

also our market may have changed seasonal trends.
been plenty of new highs printed at year ends vs the old norm of april.

going to be an interesting year.

just not many packing cos in the usa ( by elected govt demand / design thus perhaps farmer/banker preference too ), that hurts this deal.
