| When we were spraying when u went banding, ok 1/2 rate of broadcast but then we 1/2 rate cut again and when we went to 7 inch band 1/2 of the 15 inch band then 1/2 cut again. Next to nothing for spray was used this was Accent and Banvel. We also used drops one on each side of the row just to get what was dead in the row and the cut on that was several times, local coop spray man helped set the rate on that. Accent is only full rate(broadcast) chemical company rate 2/3 oz per acre. Like he said they have to over apply cant have a failure. So on the dead zone in our case alot less chemicals of those acres making it down the Mississsippi. Hard for weeds to develope resistance to cold steal slicing through the ground. | |
