Pat,

Elsewhere, I questioned whether the market needed to move significantly higher at this point in time. This time last year and at similar prices, the market "bought" 97M acres.

While I'll wait for the market to prove, I think there a high probability it will trade similar to last year and move into a trading channel. Of the range, that is to be determined if it develops at all. Preliminary thoughts are 715 - 735.

As always, I reserve the right to amend or be completely wrong.

Good points . . . .
Keep in mind, this time of year, the market is trading what is very, very apparent. It is not speculating on anything (weather, future global sales etc).
This is a time of year, when budgets, plans, and stratigies are being set by traders, it's slow . . .
Get through mid to late Jan and interest starts to play more into the markets . . . . ..
Edit: Keep a eye on the charts . . .  they can give good clues as to where the markets may go and a time frame also. Daily prices don't cut it.
