NW Iowa | Is there a reason you can't put in the hay first or midway in the load?? Always have put in the silage last here so i have never seen that problem but can see where it would do that. Is the hay too dry that it has to go in lastso it doesn't break up too much?? Think i would save the money in trying to configure something in the mixer and just make the extra trip or two that it may take to get the silage in last. A good mix will by far and above pay for those extra trips. | |
