Southwest Ontario | I grow and sell about 40 ac of s/f a year for bird feed. Might not have anything to say that you want to hear. But I want to say, a 10/64 screen is pretty small, any seeds that fall through that, more than likely won't have a seed in them, just a hull. Birds don't eat empty hulls, they just spit them out. Makes a mess under the feeder. Bird feeders like it when all the feed is eaten (thats my claim to fame) even though I take out all empty seeds with air on the combine.
Oh, by the way, you should call it bird FEED. Bird seed, would consist of burying birds, in hopes that they would grow. | |
