NEMO
or two.

I think you might be disappointed with the flow of the cattle the way you have the tub situated, in my opinion.

Half Tubs are better than nothing, but I bet you will find the cows head at the pivot point and her rearend blocking the opening to the allyway. The man pushing the sweep gate will be at the end of the gate, and the cow's normal 'flight' is away from him, so at the end of the sweep or arc of the gate, she's facing the pivot point, at least this has always been my experience.

WW has an E-Z Does It Design ( http://www.wwmanufacturing.com/ez.html ) that might work in your barn, or at least it is easy to duplicate it with 3 hanging gates. I printed off your plan and made some red lines to mimic the E-Z Does It design with the swinging gates. It is attached below with this post. We have one farm with the E-Z Does It setup and it works pretty good.

Another WW design is the V-Trap, ( http://www.wwmanufacturing.com/sweep.html ) that utilizes an extra gate in the 'tub' to help eliminate the cows going to the wrong part of the tub.

A quarter tub design like this For-Most ( http://www.for-most.com/setup3.html ) seems to work better for us than a half-tub does. The 'pivot' point of the tub is where the cow needs to exit the tub, so the guy pushing the sweep gate naturally 'forces' the cow into the ally.

The beauty of the E-Z does it design is that everything is straight and all you need is 3 gates. As the person swings the first gate, he is actually swinging all 3 because they are overlapped, and it forms a 'tub' or smaller area and pushes the cows into the ally. When the first gate is closed, open it and keep on pushing forward till the second gate is closed, then open it and push till the third gate is closed.
