Hilmar, California
Kyler-nice post. 1,100 milk cows 1,148 dry stock. double 16 parlor 3x day, 5milkers, 1 cow pusher/freestall raker, 1 cow feeder, 1 calf feeder, 2 outside guys and 1 young cat that reliefs my cow pusher on Saturdays. Milkers start at 2,200 a month salary and outside guys very from 2,200 to 2,800 all salary, all 10hr shifts. 11 workers, no more no less all year long. Idk what your other 9 employees do all year unless you farm/custom farm but im talking strictly diary, maybe cut some fat off and raise the pay. Crack the whip don’t tolerate bad employees.
