Subject: Do you do anything extra for your cattle at Christmas?

Driftless SW Wisconsin

I don't know if it was the 6 degree F low temperature predicted for tonight or just the fact it is Christmas Eve, but I found myself shovelling snow out of the fenceline bunk and giving my cattle an especially large treat of sweet feed just before dark. Also a bucket for the bulls over the hill.

I suspect others with livestock do the same. Anyone else get the urge to put out some special hay etc on Christmas Eve?

Merry Christmas!

Jim
