Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North | I think mine only misses cows when I watch it. If you check up on things chances are good that's when the cow that will have a failed milking will go through, but with 400 milkings per day missing two or three ain't too bad. 99% of the time the cow comes back in an hour or two and everything goes smoothly, the only time failed milkings have been an issue is if a cow has a problem (mastitis, ect.) that needs attention from us anyways. Might take 15 minutes a week to check cows who failed. Sure beats 6 hours per day in the parlor.
