Not to sound like a Luddite, but the other day I watched a Delaval robot try to pick up an tit for what seemed like 10 minutes. Eventually it just kicked the cow out, the other 3 were done, robot said screw it. Was a nice udder, robot just couldn't calculate it. The amount of work involved with robots told me to just spend the money on a nicer parlor and spend a couple hours a day milking.
