Driftless SW Wisconsin | What you are describing is more of a function of any sedentary office job, not just government jobs. Sitting at ANY desk job makes cattle an attractive tie to the land. Next generation problems are also a pervasive problem more tied to prosperity than any one job type. Kids playing "black ops" instead of baling hay is a societal and parental problem not just your neighbors.
