Hard to beat a Ruger at that price.... Not made anymore but my Ruger P97DC is about as solid, reliable, and accurate as I would ever need for a sub $500 knock down power gun when I purchased it. I think the new .45 that replaces my P97 is just as reliable, just more safety crap. But I have no firsthand experience with it.
