I know a bunch of very small cow calf guys that probably are going to take a nicer vacation and have nicer christmas presents than anyone trying to feed a couple thousand steers. These are guys that don't have supplemental income. but the 5 year note they had on there cows is almost paid off and they bought the cows for 500 a peice. Don't a bunch of you feedlot guys wish you could buy steers at 2007 prices. well thats basically what some of these guys that locked in the price of there cows in 2007 are doing. |
