Why get rid of it? Is it falling apart? Or need a bigger cab?
I sold my '99 with 275K on it, only because it was an x-cab and needed a crew cab for the family. Current owner has it to 300k and has done an oil analysis and said everything was where it needed to be, next to perfect. And a bunch of those miles (100k+) the motor had been modified and running 350rwhp, last dyno run it was doing 450+. It still has basically the stock block/internals, except for head studs. Granted the transmission had been replaced. But the rest of the truck was still in great shape and could go another 100K+ miles.

There's plenty of vendors that can breathe new life into the truck as a whole.
