I don't think I would consider replacing it. My 97 has 205,000 and you couldn't pry it out of my hands. I don't think you will find a more reliable set up. I talked to a friend of mine yesterday that got rid of his 99 Powerstroke because it was getting some miles on it....395,000! Only thing major done to it was a clutch and flywheel.
