| No, I did not see a COOL label on any of the meat offered. Not on the package I bought anyway. The company is based in OK so I hope it is US beef.
I did not take time to look for COOL labeling on other meat products. The "local" store chain has signage in the meat dept that proudly proclaims the only beef they sell is American beef.
I'm glad I got out of Wallyworld when I did. The store was gearing up for Black Friday. Extra sales help and security personell were arriving by the time I left. Aisles were roped off with police tape with merchadise designated to go on sale in a few hours starting at 10PM.
This morning I saw a news item on local TV about Black Friday shoppers who were arriving early in order to be the first in line when stuff goes on sale. I draw the line at camping out on a single digit temp night to be first in line. (or at any other time for that matter!) I may be crazy, but at least I"m not insane! | |
