| My deer hunters are here for the extended weekend. One of them is in the NG and brought 5 MRE's along. I have never seen a MRE before and have not opened any yet. Don't know what all is included in them except there is a surprising amount of variety offered. These are, in my hunter's opinion, some of the better MRE's on the menu
Menu 2 = Pork Rib
Menu 9 = Beef Stew
Menu 6 = Chicken with Noodles
Menu 16 = Chicken Fajita
Menu 20 =Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
I don't see an ingredient listing, nutritional information, or an expiration date, at least on the heavy shrink-wrap outer covering. Packages do state these MRE's are produced by Ameriqual Packaging of Evansville, IN. I look forward to sampling one this weekend. | |
