Nevada, Iowa | For those of you that buy machinery from a private individual, when you travel to look at something what are among the "little" things that make you feel comfortable buying it? Having a piece washed and detailed, service records, a nice warm place to look the item over, etc., I can see these items as important to a good sale but what else has impressed you when you went to look at something?
For those that have sold privately, same line of thought. What do you like to do to express the piece or make the situation more comfortable to interested parties? Do you have an extra something that you prefer to do when selling a piece privately? I am not looking for tricks to hide problems etc., just looking for any advice to make a simple, honest sale as successful as possible. Thanks | |
