Little River, TX | What ever happened to the modified turning plow?
Frances Chiles used a plow that turned the soil a quarter turn. Ten years ago it was the greatest thing since beans and rice. Corn yields so great he had to walk his combine through the field at a creep to keep from choking the combine. Corn following corn was the only way to go, as you loose corn yield rotating in soybeans.
Be something to have yields large enough to choke the combine pulling corn with only half the header. | |
