| You will need a pump that is compatible with your tractor's hyd system, a open or a closed system. Not a big deal at all. I've run hyd pumps for years on my pull type sprayers. You should have no problem with a 45' boom. Your pump should put out a fairly constant amount of flow no matter the engine rpms (it will vary some, but not nearly as must as it will with a PTO pump). Your MX 120 should have manual adj hyd flow, you can set your pump's flow with that. | |
