| We tried to rebury a new post and didn't work, tried rods going through the door, also didn't work.
Ended up building a 3' wide footing all the way across the doorspan, with a 4" deep, 4" wide channel where the doors slide. ran it very very slightly sloped so water won't pool and filled it with concrete. This was on a 30' door opening, used one truck of cement for the project. Nothing to tear out or worry about hitting, works out really well because wind doesn't catch and move them at all.
I'll try to snap some pictures if its something that might work for ya. | |
