Swift Current, Sask | Our harvest went very well considering it only rained 25mm after June 22. I thought we had planned things better in spring, but everything was basically ready at once. Minimal breakdowns and no rain delays made things go quick. Got done before the big wind.
There are 2 8780's at Richie Bros. Saskatoon sale. You could maybe pick one up for the price of an 8570.
Was there less midge damage in the Unity vs Sadash? We had midge damage this year, which in our area is a 1-in-10 year event like fusarium.
Thank you for your updates and pics. It's nice to see and keep up on a guy my age that is making a go of farming without daddy's money or ability to get credit, or who is married to the salesman at the local green or red dealer. When I bump into Steve, he usually talks about you.
