Nice pics Christian. What did you think of the demo? Is that an 8780? What kind of yield increase do you see with the Sadash vs Unity? Still planning on farming in Ethelbert as well next year? Did you have wind damage in your canola or was it aster yellows that hurt your yield?

I think our next combine will be an 8570. Yes, that is an 8780.... The capacity increase over the 860 isn't there to justify a $85000 bill.
Sadash and Unity yielded within 3 bu of each other, with the same nutrient package, on side-by-side quarters. Sadash did have more fusarium.
Nope, MB is sold. Finally!
The canola was hurt by.... everything! lots of rain in spring, very little in summer, aster yellows, and then the wind probably did more damage than anything.
I bet we could have had 10bu/ac more if that wind didn't come through.
