I know nothing more about this guy than what Top Porducer has published and a few comments from AT. I can tell you this, if he was in my local community I would not be in favor of his business plan one bit. I don't see how an operation like this is healthy for rural America. It creates a "monoculture" that streams down to the way the rest of the town, county and area operate. Its not a secret how these guys gain their acres. Hell, I could grow like that with a few outrageous offers. But, the damage after the fact is what will take time to fix as well as healing the anxiety put on people of the area competing against him or even working for him. All I see with him and many others like him is a sickness of greed. That doesn't make him a top producer in my opinion.
