Brisbane, Australia | I basically like the FMX for what we do. My big issue is firmware versions. Seems every new firmware has to incorporate EVERY plug-in functionality, whether you need it or not. All they are succeeding in doing is constipating the processor and clogging the memory and simply slowing the whole process down.
Has anyone put into the "Trimble Suggestion Box" that they bring out firmware versions with a tick box option to download only the Plug-ins needed instead of giving us all that useless crap we don't want!
I'd still run V3.01 if had the choice but FieldLevel won't work now on anything less than V6 for some strange reason (I'd love an explanation on that one!) - plus V3.01 still has the light background where you can see everthing clearly and not have to look up into the dark of a scottsman's kilt in those later versions!
I wish these programmers would actually have to operate these things on a daily basis for 12 months but then I guess we'd have to train them to drive a tractor and breathe dust! | |
