| Where abouts are you located? I dought that you are near me. The closest guy to me was getting $8.00 for a 800# 3x3x7 bale($20/ton). I never could get him or afford him so I bought one myself. I charge $10 for an 1800# 4x4x8 bale. I based this on the fact that it is what all the round balers around me get for the same weight bale. Also my baler is alot cheaper than what the other guy runs. I have a $100 minimum for jobs more than 3miles and less than 20 miles away. Over that it is desided on a case by case basis. I do very little custom mowing and raking, but I get $9.50/acre to disk mower and $7.50/acre to rake up to four swaths together. | |
