Little River, TX | The idea is to make it worth while to bale odd shaped fields and poor production. I can make it work under ideal conditions at $0.75/bale to drop a bale on the ground. I just finished a job on an odd shaped field and little hay, close to $3.00/bale to put a bale on the ground.
Everything I own runs by the hour, I do not have an acre meter or bale meter built into the Tachometer.
Here we are loosing custom baler people simply because with the poor hay production found on most fields, this year, they are loosing money charging by the bale. | |
