If you go with the interior blinds, the space enclosing the blinds is not sealed, no argon can be added and your windows become susceptible to interior staining as heat difference suck humidity and/or dust between the panes.

I believe some of the windows made now can actually be sealed and have the enclosed blinds. The actuator mechanism for the blinds uses magnets to adjust the interior blind.
