Subject: Good question Tara.

North Central Illinois
The whole corn export story has been glossed over or totally ignored by the Super Bulls for a year now. The only thing that will improve that situation is lower US prices or lack of supply on a world wide basis. While there is corn available for export in the world, stocks of grain in the world are tight. So, with that said I'm just not sure how much other countries will be willing to export in the next six months. I think December and January will see corn sell off to some extent which should help exports. I don't think exports will get much worse but how soon they get better remains to be seen.

Of course 2012 US production is still a bit of a wild card but I think we are starting to get a pretty good handle on that. Looks like it will be close to what I have been thinking since August. Around 10.5 but probably closer to 10.2 billion. A little different than the sub 8 billion we heard from the "Sky is Falling" crowd all summer.
