Good points, Mike. I have never been desperate enough to try it. I just throw dead germ on my fields to rot. Some burn it here, I would think you could wash the old flaked treatment off or blow it off with an air hose while wearing your official grain bin respirator, tonge in cheek.

Good post, I think your common sense statement says it all.
