S.E. Sask. | The money you save running older vehicles will pay for a lot of gas. My best is my 97 Blazer 4.3 which will do around 20 mpg most of the time. About half that if I have to use 4WD in the snow. My old 81 pickup with the 403 Olds engine has hit just over 17 mpg highway driving but probably closer to 15 in everyday use. I don't put enough miles on either of them to justify buying a newer more fuel efficient vehicle. | |
