I did the suction hose thing as suggested by Red/Green on mine a few years ago. It does save some of the beans from rolling out the front, and it has stopped several baseball sized rocks from exploring the inside of the cylinder, but I still had a lot of beans on the ground. Just don't know how to stop 8% beans from popping out as soon as they're touched by anything. I had pods opened up and beans on the ground before I pulled the machine in the field- on green stems,
