That is exactly why I bought a piece of land 18 months ago. Had a couple good years, had some cash we'd been saving for a long time. Saw a piece of land that had the potential to be in the right place the right time for some "green energy" production. Thought, if nothing else it should appreciate at least as fast as money is inflating, why not? Not going crazy, but I hope in a few years it will be paid for, and can provide an income stream, pretty much hands off. We'll see. |
